Family Open Day — Visit Our Residential Floors
Tour our resident rooms, activity hall and family lounge, meet our nursing team in person, and get every question about residential care answered before you decide.
A hands-on session teaching family caregivers safe transfer techniques, fall prevention and simple home exercises for elderly relatives.

Most of the physical strain in caring for an elderly relative at home comes down to a handful of moments — helping someone stand, guiding them into a chair, or steadying them on stairs. Done the wrong way, these moments risk injury to both the caregiver and the senior.
This workshop, led by our physiotherapy team, is built specifically for family caregivers rather than professionals — plain-language guidance on safe transfer techniques, fall-prevention habits around the home, and a short set of exercises that can be done safely without equipment.
Participants will get hands-on practice in our physiotherapy room, with our physiotherapist correcting technique in real time rather than only demonstrating from the front of the room.
The session is free and open to any family currently caring for an elderly relative at home, whether or not they use our services.
